Protože nemoc může propuknout kdykoliv, aniž by se jakkoliv projevovala dopředu, je prevence skutečně velmi obtížná. Vždy se však oplatí dodržovat zdravý životní styl, kde se rovnoměrně střídá zátěž a odpočinek, správný způsob stravování a samozřejmě abstinence drog i většího množství alkoholu.

Nejdůležitější je však udržovat mysl i emoce pozitivně naladěné, zbytečně se netrápit, vyhýbat se stresovým situacím, případně se je naučit řešit. Osvojit si asertivní náhled i jednání s lidmi. Pracovat hned od počátku s jakoukoliv sebemenší úzkostí a nebát se obrátit se na nějakého odborníka, nejlépe psychoterapeuta.

Závěr:

Panická porucha je nepříjemná, dokáže pořádně potrápit a zkomplikovat život na všech úrovních. Dobrá zpráva je, že se dá celkem úspěšně léčit. Navíc vývoj jde neustále kupředu, metody léčby a terapie jsou v dnešní době mnohem kvalitnější. Proto se není čeho bát, ani za co se stydět, nejde o poruchu intelektu, ale o poruchu přenosu vzruchů. Čím dříve se tato porucha bude léčit, tím lépe.
